Open Lines Instructions
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING OPEN LINES OF EXPORT LIST
All policies must be coded whether or not the line and class is eligible for export.
Classify the policy by the coverage, i.e. property, liability, excess limits, package (multi-peril) professional liability, etc.
After you have located the coverage check to see if the type of business (i.e., contractor, day care facility, is listed under the eligible lines of export.
If you are unable to locate the coverage and type of business under the eligible lines of export, you must use a code from the ineligible list and complete the declination detail.
If you have questions or need assistance in classifying a policy, please call our office.
If the policy covers property and liability or property and garage keepers' legal liability, it is considered a multi-peril or package policy. Please use the codes listed under the multi-peril section.
Personal and commercial vehicles licensed for road use that are not eligible in the admitted market must be placed in the Nevada Assigned Risk Program administered by The Western Association of Insurance Plans at (800) 227-4659.
